Translator/Interpreter Training & Research
(翻訳者・通訳者の養成と翻訳・通訳に関する研究)
The educational branch of MTG-Yaku was established in 2006 to provide:
- Quick and easy access to a range of resources for students, educators, and researchers interested in Japanese-English translator/interpreter training and research; and
- Create an environment wherein philology students interested in becoming professional translators can observe and in some cases participate in professional translation projects (aka legitimate peripheral participation).
At present, the following resources have been made available on this site:
- Translation
- Interpreting
- Interpreter Training (通訳者養成プログラム)
- Interpreting Resources
- Japanese
This site is continually evolving with a view to better meeting the needs of its users. As editor-in-chief, I am always interested in hearing any ideas or receiving any contributions you may have to help realize that objective. To contact me directly, please use the contact form below.
